About the program
Professional coaching for learners and supervising drivers
The myLearners Free Lesson initiative is designed to support young Victorian learner drivers and the person who supervises most of their driving practice.
The free lesson is a coaching session rather than a standard private lesson. It gives both the learner and supervising driver practical guidance that can be used during future supervised practice.
Advice Driving School provides myLearners Free Lesson bookings for eligible learners who have completed the official registration process and received a valid Free Lesson ID.
Eligibility
Who can receive the free lesson?
You must meet all current program requirements and obtain a valid Free Lesson ID before Advice Driving School can confirm the funded booking.

Victorian learner permitThe learner must hold a current Victorian learner permit.

Age requirementThe learner must currently be between 16 and 21 years old.

Practice-hour requirementThe learner must have completed between 10 and 50 hours of driving practice.

Supervising driver attendanceThe fully licensed person who supervises most of the learner’s driving must attend.

Can the lesson be used for Drive Test preparation?
The program is intended as a coaching session for the learner and supervising driver. Standard Drive Test preparation can be booked separately.

What if I do not meet the eligibility requirements?
You can still book standard paid beginner, automatic or other driving lessons with Advice Driving School.
